The client
CompanyCam is a US construction software company. It makes jobsite photo and documentation software for contractors and serves about 350,000 users. Its Sales Enablement and RevOps teams own the inbound lead funnel.
The problem
Contractors sign up on CompanyCam’s website at all hours, including nights and weekends. A human rep could only call them during office hours, so a lead who signed up on a Saturday waited until Monday for the first call. By then the buying intent had cooled. Leads that no rep touched simply sat in Salesforce. CompanyCam wanted to call every inbound lead fast, including after hours and on weekends, without adding reps to cover those windows.
What Revve built
- Scope: An AI SDR that calls each new inbound lead, qualifies them, and books a product demo on the rep’s own Calendly link.
- Integrations: Salesforce (lead sync in, call outcomes back as tasks) and Calendly Enterprise. The booking link comes from the Salesforce lead owner record, so the existing UTM attribution stays intact.
- Cadence: Up to 2 calls with a voicemail and an SMS after each miss. A booked demo triggers a confirmation SMS and exits the campaign.
- Compliance: Calls only inside an 8am to 8pm local calling window (TCPA). The agent discloses that it is an AI. It detects an explicit do-not-call request, writes it back to Salesforce, and stops. It does not treat a hang-up as a DNC.
- Human handoff: If the lead declines, the agent names the assigned rep as the next contact and texts a booking link.
Results
Measured from the Revve platform, 7 April to 31 August 2026. Test calls excluded.
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Leads called | 6,023 unique leads, 8,862 dials |
| Demos booked in total, all sources | 159 Calendly appointments |
| Deals closed from August demos | 12, worth $3,161 in new MRR (CompanyCam’s own Salesforce reporting) |
| Do-not-call requests detected and honored | 29 |
Once a lead engages far enough to talk about a time, the agent closes more than half of them: 250 booking attempts, 133 booked, a 53% close rate. August alone ran 3,724 dials and 99 attempts, more than double July.
The agent covers the weekend, which is what a rep could not do
August 2026, outbound calls:
- Weekend: 2,566 dials, 32 demos booked
- Weekday: 1,158 dials, 27 demos booked
69% of August calls happened on a weekend, and the weekend produced more demos than the whole working week. Before Revve those leads waited until Monday.
In their words
Discovery is consistently strong, even on calls with heavy accents or a language barrier. Cam gets real pain points out of people and confirms them back accurately. And when someone asks something off-script, he looks it up instead of guessing.
What is next
CompanyCam’s CS leadership asked Revve to take on 3 more voice agents: outbound scheduling for kickoff trainings, delinquent-account recovery, and an inbound support line. All 3 are already built and running early calls.
